Department Allocation
Guidelines(College of Humanities)
Spring Semester Allocation: Applicants are required to have registered at least 2 semesters and get at least 24 credits. Application & Admission procedures are held in Fall Semester. Applicants who pass the admission procedure will be allocated to the department in the Spring Semester of the following year.
Fall Semester Allocation: Applicants are required to have registered at least 3 semesters and get at least 36 credits. Application & Admission procedures are held in Spring Semester. Applicants who pass the admission procedure will be allocated to the department in the Fall Semester of the same year.
GPA Requirements(Dept. of Korean Language & Litertature)
Applicants should take at least 1 course among 3 pre-Major Courses of Dept. of Korean Language & Literature(Introduction to Korean Linguistics/Introduction to Korean Literature/Korean Liturature and Society).
The GPA of the pre-Major Courses must be B-(2.7) or higher. Applicants who have taken all 3 pre-Major courses can designate 2 of them to calculate GPA.
Notes
Students who are taking pre-Major Courses can apply for department allocation in the very semester in which the application procedure is held. But such students are also needed to satisfy the above GPA requirements at the end of the semester.
