International Students

In the case of admissions procedures for international students,

each procedure follows the schedule of the Office of International Affairs(OIA), SNU, so you should refer to its website.

However, document evaluations, interviews, and oral evaluations are conducted by the Department of Korean Language and Literature upon request.

Combined bachelor's and master's program

[Qualification for application]

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  • A. Enrolled in at least four semesters of an undergraduate program at SNU and have earned at least 54 credits.
  • B. Have an overall grade point average of 3.3 or higher through the immediately preceding semester or
  •      a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for the immediately preceding two semesters.
  • C. Recommended by one’s own adviser and the dean or head of  belonging department, 
  •      and the dean or head of the department of gradute school which you apply  to.

[Procedures]

Selected based on the combined scores of the interview, oral examination, and document review (grades, research plan, etc.).

 

[Post-Selection Documents]

If the applicants who are selected are enrolled in 5-6 semesters,

they should submit the 1st research activity plan within 1 week after the selection result is announced.

 

If the applicants are selected, they should submit the research activity plan to the department office with confirmation by the advisor,

at the beginning of each semester (end of March, end of September).
